The Aquarium


In this large aquarium
fins flap as we sail towards glass


we meet inside the sunken ship
as love waves wake our world


water ripples to our sweet song
we swim sideways towards
our own reflections

the lid is slowly lifted
painted nails above our heads
we rise to the surface
nipping small flakes
floating on our
water sky
