Forest's grace

Within the forest,
one moonlit night,
I took a walk
in soft respite.

A peaceful breeze
danced through my hair,
caressing my skin,
so soft and fair.

The moon shimmered
throughout the sky,
reflecting deep
within my eyes.

My gown of lilac
traced the ground,
upon the path,
a trail was found.

The trees reached out
to my heart,
opening my mind,
creating art.

I walked onward
through the trees,
upon earth's blanket
of tranquility.

The song of the forest
began to play,
mollifying my thoughts
of yesterday.

Sounds of birds
echoed through the night,
their song so sweet,
an angel's delight.

A stream nearby
gently trilled,
of magic, of light,
of beauty stilled.

I closed my eyes,
listening intently,
to the forest,
to nature's jamboree.

This sacred place,
a part of my soul,
it's where I belong,
where I feel whole.

A smile emerged
upon my face,
contentment found
in forest's grace.
