Smiling kindly and descending down on on a foreleg (a formidable feat for someone of 18 hands), the steed replied to the fae, "I am very pleased to make your aquaintance, Miss Oc." Rising up again, he nodded her her with respect before turning back to the stallion, who had just spoken again. He's trying to cover up for all he's done.
