~After a while of letting out her self pity in the form of tears, the fae finally gained enough courage to peek out behind the shelter of a tree at Blade. He was lying down.. did that mean he upset as well? Gulping, she looked down at the ground, sorry she had hurt his feelings.

And then, as she began watching him again, she thought about their conversations so far.. and the stallion's reactions to everything... and she realized that there was something about him.. something she had not been able to spy in the hearts of other stallions.

She saw a future within his handsome eyes... though she couldn't bring herself to accepting that fact. She was still wary.. almost too wary.. and she was afraid of what could happen again. Still, she continued gazing at him, until another burst of miniscule courage caused her to take a step foward. Wrong move.

With a sharp crack a twig splintered, which rang through the air like a shot. Everything seemed to go completely silent, until the point where she could hear the blood pounding in her ears. Would he have heard that? Would he approach her once again?~
