A young mare trots into the land. She was a child only a year ago, but now the delicate beauty knew some of the joys, and hardships of life. Her Enony hooves strike the earth in a staccato beat of the orient. She was an Arabian godess. Her pale face was finely dished and carven, gracefully sloping to a charcoal muzzle. Her mane flowing down upon her arched neck swept past her whithers. Then she stood ears forward, tail flagging. She tossed her head and gave forth a clear call. She hoped to find a stallion to love, and to be her friend. Life was not always cherished alone.
