Subject: A Plumbing We Will Go (1940)

An outstanding short, and Curly's personal favorite. The Stooges as plumbers make for plenty of laughs, but there are some great scenes prior to the waterworks as well. Acquitted as chicken thieves, the guys try fishing in an aquarium! And the scene with Curly and the mannequin cop is classic.

A number of the bits, including the television broadcast of Niagara Falls, would be recycled for the Shemp era shorts Vagabond Loafers (1949) and Scheming Schemers (1956).

Moe: "Who says you need brains to be a plumber?"

Moe: "This ain't a house, it's a sieve!"

Chef: "Sorry, folks. Dinner's postponed on account of rain."
