One of the best and best-known of the Stooges shorts. Gail Tempest, a dancer at the Blackbottom Cafe, is on trial for the murder of Kirk Robin. Larry, Moe and Curly are musicians at the cafe, and are set to testify in her defense.

One classic scene features Curly being sworn in on the witness stand.
"Take off your hat"
"Raise your right hand"
"Put your left hand here"
"Are you trying to give me the doubletalk?"

Gail performs her dance act to the delight of the male courtroom spectators and to the chargrin of one female juror. The Stooges supply her music.

Larry's bow picks up the tarantula toupee.

Curly tosses his chewing gum.

"Oh, my Stradavarius!"

The firehose finale.

Tim
