Among my favorites are Theodore (Ted) Lorch and Duke York.

Ted Lorch was the High Priest in the first Flash Gordon serial in 1936. He was a memorable guest star in several Stooges shorts, and portrayed military officers in Uncivil Warriors (1935) and Goofs and Saddles (1937). He also took a kick to the jaw as Professor Sedletz in Half-Wits Holiday (1947).

Duke York was King Kala in Flash Gordon '36. Stooges fans more likely remember him as Lupe the Wolf Man in Idle Roomers (1944) and Nikko the Goon in Who Done It? (1949).
