Subject: The Three Stooges (2000) ABC-TV Movie

I assume most have seen the ABC-TV movie biopic of the Stooges that first aired some eight years ago this week? I found it very entertaining, but how accurate was it? Of course no biopic is completely accurate, but I just wondered how some of the Stooge scholars rated this one.

I thought the re-creations of the group shooting their shorts were very realistic. The picture also conveyed the sad aspects of their Hollywood career, such as not receiving fair compensation for the their work.

Mel Gibson was one of the executive producers of this biopic.

I didn't watch the 2000 movie. Thanks for the insights behind it. Biopics can get some of the things accurate, but not all things. At any rate, a good tribute.
