This is what I think is a double standard in pageants. When the facial girls win but did nothing on stage. "they say oh it was her face score. when he girl who models well on stage wins, but is not that facial they say oh she had personality.

Point is you can't win, they will say what ever to justified the winner.
I think if it's a face and personality pageant you need to have it both like a package...

I have seen most of those girls on stage and they all have both. I have to say I am having a hard time imagining that someone going to there first state pagenat would project more than a seasonal girl.
I could see maybe them getting an overall or novice there first time maybe even queen...but anything higher is not the normal thing you see. JMO

But at the same time is not fair to take away from there wins either, which is what unfornately happens when you post on here. But directors also need feedback. But if you e-mail them than you take a chance of them holding a grudge too.
No win situation if you ask me...So I have learn to just not say anything when this happens, but we do not go back to the system either.
