Not sure about every one else but I have been busy outside--but need to cover my tomato plants tonight. They are calling for FROST. Can you believe that?
I have also been busy sewing. I made a tote bag with embroidery designs on it. Also made a couple of this for a swap from another group--I actually had Dutchie Deb's name!
Tomorrow will be a day to work in the yard, I think, weather permitting.
So how is every one doing health wise? How's your numbers gang?
Laurel

I'm here!! Like everyone else.....BUSY!!!! Had a cookout over the holiday. Lots of fun, family & food.
The past few days I have been upstairs cleaning the loft. I needed something REALLY bad & went to digging thru my totes & boxes & made a HUGE mess. Lots of things to go thru & figure out why I kept "that". LOL!

DH was a lil upset about his #'s last night. He had a small steak & salad & a wheat roll for dinner. 2 hours later his # was 169. We had almost the same dinner a week ago & his # that night was 126. I had to remind him about stress & his #'s. There was an ongoing "discussion" about Tribal Politics last night (elections are a week away) & it got quite loud & interesting. :0)

No new recipe to try this week but I do have an alterarion to the Pineapple Whip I posted last week. Here tis.
Cool & refreshing!

1 - 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. Splenda
1 -15 oz. can peaches, drained & chopped fine*
1 small sugar free peach Jello **
1 small Cool Whip (sugar free)

Whip cream cheese & splenda.
Stir in peaches, then jello.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Chill.
ENJOY!!

*Try your favorite fruit (fresh or canned)
** Add a pkg of jello that compliments your fruit.
***Omit the jello & add a sugar free pkg of pudding. Resulting in a creamier dessert. Do not add milk. I think vanilla would go with anything
