Subject: DH numbers

DH had a blood sugar of 125 this morning. His average is 133. Some mornings it will be as high as 175. Can't get any answers from his Dr. because he (DH) won't let me go in with him.

I do know that the amount of excersize you get & stress you have can effect the numbers. DH doesn't excersize but does work an outdoor job that keeps him very active.
He used to get sluggish around lunch time. I make his lunch & send 2 sandwiches (on wheat bread) a piece of fruit & a few diet drinks. I finally got him to eat something about mid-morning & then early afternoon & save the fruit for late afternoon. He says the sluggish, need a nap feeling has about gone away now. Trial & Error......Trial & Error. :0)

Yeah!!! I am not talking to myself any more!
I am sorry to say that I am not good at taking my numbers. I should but I don't. BAD ME!! I do watch what I eat but need to get more exercise. I do so much better at that when the weather is nicer. So glad spring is here, I think it is here anyway!

Yippee, there are new post!!!
My numbers are usually high in the mornings too, im not sure why either, I would think they would be opposite. But in some ways I would rather have them high, rather than it bottoming out while im sleeping. I have had a number as low as 30, and was by myself...I think the only thing that kept me from going into a coma, was, the fact, I knew I had to help myself,...and I owe a lot of credit, to our dog, he sensed I was in trouble, and helped get me to the house.
I have problems excersising, do to problems with my back, and I really don't know how to help get my numbers under control, with out excersing.
