Ok, so. Here's the scoop. As many of you know, and many others may not, I have not been the webmaster of my site for some time. Several years in fact. I would not go so far as to call myself a webmaster now, it's more a situation of 'Please don't let me break it'.
The bottom line is that my webmaster had too many other, paying, gigs to keep this site updated as it needed to be. Since I didn't know how to do it, I felt kind of like I had to take his updates when they could happen. The frustration got to be too much and you all are stuck with me muddling through, with a great deal of help from my former webmaster in answering all my dumb little nubbish questions.
So where are we going? Well, I'm trying to assess if I can in fact run a site, doing the updates and such. As of now, I can. As long as that continues to be the case, and as long as I don't let the smoke out of the site, then it will go on past its scheduled sell by date of May 08.
What can you expect in the short term? You will see new stories posted, right now I am aiming for Sunday posts. There are several new chapters posted as you read this. Also, the final chapter of Quantum will be posted, as well as an epilogue that is just about done.
I have submissions I am reading through now. If you have stories you think would do well, now's the time. I hope to see you all again soon, please bear with me while I try to learn what is, basically, a foreign language in html and the commands to place things on the server.
