Date Posted: 04:07:18 09/25/09 Fri Here we go 4 Life Runners and Walkers... Trying to beat the FANTASTIC SALE we had at Jackie's shop! I know JACKIE WANTS US TO,,,but can we? YES WE CAN: The Sale to top the 600 and change from Jackie's sale! Lets Do IT! Put up your flyers...noting it's across from Union Mills Bakery in West Portsmouth: Gigantic sale w/furniture, food, baby stuff and lots of cheap prices! During the giant yard sale we had at Jackie's Shop we reached sales of more than $600.00! This amazing, honestly awesome achievement really got our fund raising off to a great start...we are more than 25% HOME...on our way toward the $2000 needed to put on a TOTALLY AWESOME, WELL ORGANIZED, FUN, REWARDING, HELPFUL, EXCITING, TRULY MEMORABLE RACE ON APRIL 3RD! Remember...proceeds from this race go to the Father's Table at the Salvation Army, a wonderful organization feeding the hungry, and to the Challenger Little League Organization who currently gets NO FUNDING and enables teams of students with special needs to play sports, go to tournaments, get outside, be healthy ...just like their non-disabled friends get to do ROUTINELY! Know that all you do....however little or however big...has the potential to LEGITIMATELY change lives...INCLUDING your own (and this is the truth)! As before: drop offs at Jackie's Shop behind Dr. Mays (we will deliver to Mary's building across from Union Mills Bakery) Jackie's shirt shop is also across from BW's...deliver until Thursday evening the 1st...then just drop at the sale.....PREPRICED PLEASE on the morning of the sale: October 3rd at 8am until ?...if you are working: you can come early to set up and work or work anytime or work late...or DO IT ALL like some of our hardest workers to whom thanks are NOT ENOUGH! Almost Last: Food is definitely welcome. Last sale, food appeared...AND SOLD!! Breakfast items, drinks, goodies of all kinds...cookies, cakes, pies etc...BRING IT ON! Last: If you are off the chart swamped...don't stress...just help another time when it is good for you. Remember 4 Life is about doing what you can...every one of us understand schooling demands, family first, health issues, work, church and civic duties, and all the demands placed upon super active, involved-in-real-living people!! Just do what you can...give, work, or wait till next time...just do what you can and no stress! ONCE AGAIN...THANKS TO THE MORE THAN 70% of our club who delivered for OTHERS last sale...you gave, worked, and had the opportunity to be part of something so much bigger than any one of us...Let's keep the good stuff going!! 4 Life and 4 Others...
