Hi,
20 years ago I was in therapy and I mentioned having tried self help books and the therapist suggested Keyes book. I didn't stick with that therapist, but I got the book. I keep coming back to it in times of stress and find the approach helps me "get a grip" on reality.

It's a matter of remembering to use the pathways and methods as soon as possible. And you can't really lose, because the stressful situation may or may not change in the moment, no matter how much effort you put into changing it, but you can always put a little energy into changing your internal head space. If you can ever get a copy of "How to enjoy your life, inspite of it all" it will be of great benifite to you because of the many profound insights into each of the 12 Pathways it provides. Please feel free to post here as often as you like.~Babaluie
