If you missed opening day you missed the start of not only a Baseball season, but also the start of a new Managment team. Ownership has not changed but the improvements on the field and off the field are noticeable due in most part to the new GM ,Chuck Heeman. Some changes noticed just in the first game.

1) Food, not only new offerings but also a pointed upgrade
in the quality of food.

2) A staff of personel who actually SMILE when asked a question that don't run away when they see you approaching.
Plus the most apparent difference from past years, a staff that genuinely look like they are having fun not just doing a job! (Actully heard the phrase "is she live or is it Memorex" BARB #11 was everywhere)

3)In between innings giveaways and contests that actually make people in the stands want to participate! No dragged out contests.

4) And did I mention a team that actually looks BALANCED. The Cheetah players show defense, show quality pitching, and show an offense with "POP". (WELCOME BACK BRANDON,AND DANA)

But the biggest difference seen since the opening season at the ballpark is that the BUZZ in the stands is back , fans talking about the noticeable changes, very limited griping, even public officials talking about the apparent change in attitude to a more fan and community friendliness. It looks like CHEETAH baseball is on the way to a REAL on and off the field WINNING SEASON!

Stop that, you're going to make me blush.

Thank you for the nice words - Barb and the rest of the staff are wonderful, they are doing great. Things will only get better as we make our adjustments and work with Buona to get the food working better. We had some challenges tonight (Thursday) with a couple things, but we'll keep plugging.

Bit of a scare tonight (up 13-2, won 13-9), but we'll take 2-0 anytime we can get it, Maalox or not.
