Yes, we listen also from Florida and as we try to figure what's going on in the game, the guy that is broadcasting is talking about topics totally off of what people want to hear about when trying to follow one of the games. As a sister of one of the Cheetahs, I think the the broadcaster should have more interesting information such as details about the players hometown, family members, etc. We also want to hear who's up to bat and when. The announcer never tells us until the batter is already out. Needs to be more precise I think....

I have to agree, the Announcer is terrible. They really need to get someone in there who has some enthusiasm for the game, and can tell us what's going on and what player is up to bat and not babble about non-relevant things.

Also, why aren't any of the games that are away games broadcast? does anyone know? I like to listen to all of them, and not just the home field games.

You can listen to the away games at sportsjuice.com Just click on the team that they're playing. The teams that don't broadcast on sportsjuice have a listen live link on their home page. I think I've been able to listen to almost every away game so it's pretty nice.

I don't mean to be rude, because I'm sure that I could never be a broadcaster, but the radio announcer just needs some help. My boyfriend plays for the cheetahs and I try to listen to the games but I can't even follow what is going on. You might hear, "the batter is now at no balls one strike," and the next thing you hear is the next batter being announced. I'm a baseball fan and I like to hear exactly what is going on in the game. This guy just seems to be more interested in the Hooter's Girls that come on thursdays than the players. I would love to hear the game announcer do the radio broadcast also. He has that certain something that radio/game announcers "should" have. Like I said before I don't mean to put anyone down, but would you let a guy play on the team that was awful. Heart doesn't always get you everywhere, sometimes you gotta have the talent to back it up!
