Subject: Calling all KIngs and Queens, Baskets for Kids needs you!

Hello everyone,

It’s time to start collecting for our annual Baskets for Kids program. It’s a yearly program where we collect monetary donations and items to fill baskets for the foster children of One Hope United (formerly Kids Hope United). In addition to working with One Hope United we plan to help local needy families as well. Helping is really very easy and all donations are tax deductable!

I have donation letters and signs to be put on donation boxes so please email me for them.

You can take letters to local business wearing your crown and sash. If they don’t wish to make a contribution than be sure to ask if they would allow us to place a box for donations. Most will always say yes as it helps to boost their sales as well as helps their public image.

You can also arrange to set up a day where you will set up a booth and collect donations on that day. You could even bring pictures to autograph. Setting this type of appearance up is very easy. Just call your local store (Wal-Mart is always a good one) and tell them what you are collecting for and ask what you would like to do.

When leaving a box for donations it helps to wrap it in bright paper so you can draw as much attention to it as possible.

We will be assembling baskets on March 21st at the Lake Villa VFW. Time TBA.

If you receive a monetary donation of cash and you would like to shop for basket items that is fine otherwise all checks need to be made out to American Beauty Productions and need to be mailed as soon as you get them to allow for shipping of items for the baskets.
