Hay, I really understand where you guys are coming from. When I was 2yrs old my dad came back from the war (WW2) Yes, that long ago, and saw me with long curly blond hair and looking like a girl he put a stop the whole thing. I came out to my mom when i started first grade and they threatened to put me up for adaption. In those days they sometimes put kids like me in the "crazy house". There was NOTHING else for us. After i got back from my own war (viet Nam), I was then old enough to live on my own and started learning how to look and be like a girl. I eventually got good enough to go out in public and not be sent to jail ( Yes, they would do that to you then). Well, I did my job as a guy, married, had kids, and now have grandchildren. At 70+ years old I have pieces of time to be Gail and be out where people only know me as Gail and that part of my life is wonderful. At this age my mission is to support trans kids and their parents whenever and how I can. Things are a lot better for you guys now but that doesn't mean you dont have to be very careful. Think everything through very carefully. I lived my life in a "mindfield". I pray you will never have to.
Gail
