Hi Kathy: Thanks for posting and sharing your views.

Not all boys have an interest in such things (I am living proof). They learn about them from their peers. Keeping them away from these bad influences and destructive behaviors is enough. They will either never acquire the interest, or realize how silly it is and lose interest on their own.

Boys can be led to things like dance, fashion, and art that are far more redeeming and productive.
