Hunter, welcome to the forum.

You posed an excellent question. First of all, I am glad you are supporting your child's wish to live as a girl.

As to the first part of your question: Yes, this forum is definitely intended as a resource and discussion group to help parents who are in the kind of situation you are---wanting to be supportive of a son who wants to live as a girl and perhaps eventually transition to female.

As to the second part of your question: This forum is intended to be inclusive of those kinds of situations in which feminization is initiated by the parent(s)---PROVIDED THAT THE ULTIMATE PURPOSE IS TO BE BENEFICIAL TO THE CHILD. Sometimes parents are able to perceive their child's inner needs before the child is able to 'come out' to the parent. One thing that sets this forum apart from other discussion forums is that it is open to discussion beneficial feminization whether initiated by the child, or by a sincere and loving parent.

There is no room on this forum for any kind of abuse or inappropriate postings or antagonistic comments. And this forum is not a place for fiction (although it is not always possible to tell fact from fiction; I have known of real situations that might have been assumed to be fantasy, but turn out to be valid.)
