Well, we haven't really done much. We were pretty excited about this idea back in the summer but my sister and I have both been really busy so we haven't really pursued it recently. We'd still be excited to do it, but we haven't done anything yet.

As for his hair, right now I'm just taking the grow it out approach. He's at a couple of inches below the shoulder now, so it's definitely long. And he likes to have his hair played with, so I have plenty of opportunities to do fun things with it. And Aidan doesn't seem to mind wearing hairstyles that would be considered girlish. Braids, pigtails, high ponys and hair accessories are all fine with him. And now a couple of girls in his class are getting into the act. He's come home with his hair braided several times recently and he seems quite happy about it, I think because the girls that play with his hair are, in his words, "very cool". So he seems to be getting some positive reinforcement which will hopefully make him want to keep his hair long and pretty.
