We are supportive. When I first met them (year and a half years ago, met wife; met the kids just before Christmas.) The boys were always trying to get my attention, 11 year old daughter was happy. She (as a boy) wasn't outgoing like her brothers. Christmas, her brothers got boys stuff (13 year old got a go-kart) and so did she, but she wan't happy. That time, I knew something was wrong, when I wanted her to be one of my best men, unlike her brothers, she agreed to it, but wasn't thrilled about it.
After going on a honeymoon (a family trip, taking wife on a cruise for our real honeymoon), I heard her crying, so I asked what is wrong.
She was upset we would hate her.
