I hope that Karen will respond to your posting; your situation sounds so close to her situation a year or so ago.

In any case, please tell us more about your new daughter and keep us posted on how things go from here on.

If you have a good friend whose son might be willing to help with the 'wedding' that would be great.

I can tell you that Karen solved the problem of trying to find wedding dresses that would fit an 11 year old. She did a careful and thorough search for Communion dresses that were the right style to serve as a wedding dress. And eventually she found the perfect dress for the occasion.
