That's so awesome! Allie, I'm so happy that you all were receptive to and out of the norm possibility for your sons enjoyment and the pleasure of you and your family!

My suggestion, being that I'm not a stylist, would be just to keep it long and cleanly trimmed (even across the back at one length and no bangs! I would think that most up dos are possible with this kind of cut. Curls up in a bun and tendrils would most certainly be possible. Or pony and pigtails if the outfit stage presentation was more playful. Long hair parted in the middle or pulled back in a high pony tail with a ribbon even. for just typical girl days and pulled back in a low ponytail for when he has to be a boy!

But really if his personality is open brave and bold. Any hair do would be perfect! A lot of the emo boys today have feminine hair styles.

Just remember have fun and build confidence! It's always a winner!
