Dear Rachel: Please accept my sincere condolences in regards to your husband and child. Having been widowed myself, loosing my Marine husband in Afghanistan, I can truly have a sense of your loss. It's also doubly horrific for you to loose a child as well as the result of such a senseless act. All I have left of him now is a beautiful child who is something more than gender fluid. and has become the daughter I never expected to have. She took her dads loss very hard, and I'm still not completely sure that she's ever really got over it. Well, neither have I for that matter. Anyway, never the less, my child is transgendered and really has been from birth, I just never realized it. Couldn't see the forest because there were too many trees in the way.
So, I just want to extend you a warm welcome here and I hope we can hear from you again soon.
