Subject: A new LRKC Logo

As seen on the Home Page of the LRKC Website, we have now seriously started the search for a new LRKC Logo. This should be a club decision and we (the Management Committe) hope that you will cooperate with us. We already have a few designs which we will now publish on the website, but we would like the widest choice possible so we ask you to submit new designs until the end of April 2014. Bear in mind a logo should have a simple design that can be easily reproduced on T-shirts, caps, coffee mugs, ect, however, it should still tell a story - for the Labrador Retriever Kennel Club something that captures the essence of the breed and the activities of the premier club for the breed in this country. If an outline of a Labrador body or head profile is used, it should be in line with the breed standard and show a good type of Labrador. If the design aims to capture the essence of Labradors as a Gundog, care should be taken to still keep the design simple as too much detail will be lost when the design ever gets embroidered or printed in mono-colour. Please share your thoughts with us here on the forum.
