Being a mother new to the pageant world, when I read that it was to be a "natural" pageant I was so excited to enter my daughter. I feel that children should not have to put so much make up on that is not truly what they even look like. I understand that pageants are glitz and glamour and that is fine for those parents that want that. I do not. My daughter is beautiful without anything and she looks her age not a teenager trapped in a little girls frame. My daughter had a blast and was just thrilled to be in a pageant, that to me was worth every thing. But now I do know that if it says natural it truly is just not so.

I had to fix the name of the pageant, sorry for the double post.

I was so excited when I came across this pageant system. I was looking at a pageant message board and there you were! I have been very saddened at how some pageants are taking a turn from natural little girl beauty to something totally different! I would love to judge for you sometime. I also have 2 friends if you ever need 2 or 3 judges-that is if you don't mind having us come from the same area. I live in Murfreesboro (Diamond Mine) and have been involved in pageants nearly all my life. I competed mostly during my preteen-miss years. I have held many title on the local, state, and national levels. I have directed a former prelim to the Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen pageant, our county fair queen pageant, and I currently direct our school pageant (I am a teacher) and our chamber of commerce sponsored diamond festival pageant. I also have experience being a pageant emcee and also with coaching. I tell you all this so you know I am qualified. If you ever need some judges, please give me a call. Good luck with the system and God bless. Anna O'Neal (870)285-3493 home (870)285-5010 cell oneala@mboro.k12.ar.us email
We haven't yet been to one of your pageant, but from what I have read on your website, it sounds like what we want to be apart of. Thank you for being different.
How many runner ups do you have in this pageant and what does the photogenic and side awards receive? Are boys allowed?
The photogenic winner receives a trophy, sash, and goody bag. The first alternated recieves a tropy, sash, and goody bag. The princess receives a tiara, trophy, sash, and goody bag. The queen receives a tiara, sash, trophy, and goody bag. Everyone gets a goody bag. Our free side award winners receive a framed certificate. We do not have boys at this time, but we will keep the option open if there is enough interest in the future. Thank you for your interest and questions!! This seems to be a great pageant, Could you tell me Do you have round crowns?
Hi Kim! We do not have round crowns at this time, however we plan to in the future. Our tiaras are beautiful! The Wish Upon a Star tiaras are 2 and 3/4 inches tall and the princess tiaras are 1 and 1/2 inches tall. Our crowns for our first state pageant that will be held in the summer are 4 and 3/4 inches tall and they are beautiful. It is the crown pictured on our homepage! Thanks for your question! If you have anymore don't hesitate to ask. (NT) -- Sandy (Director), 06:31:50 09/29/08 Mon
