In The Dirt Family...please join with us in continuing to pray for Steve, Joni, Faith, and Grace Colburn!

Here is Steve's schedule for the next couple of weeks and things we can be praying for:

January 11th - Steve checks into the hospital in Maryland

January 12th - testing all day

Starting January 13th - he begins what they call "immune depletion therapy" this is basically a week of intense chemotherapy to try and kill of his white blood cells and reduce his immune system to nothing. The next 10-14 days he will be injected with the cells they have been growing along with the immune booster they have been growing the cells with. The immune booster is call Interleukin II, and is supposed to make chemo seem like a walk in the park.

Steve is hoping to be home by Feb. 4th, Joni's birthday. For the last month his health has not been very good, the tumors in his neck and throat have become increasingly painful and they effect his ability to breath at times.

The bottom line is this - starting Jan. 13th he needs our prayers! He really fells like it is time to dig his heals in to get ready to battle. This procedure is HUGE, please pray for Joni and Steve as they pray and believe that this procedure will be successful and start to shrink his tumors. As Steve said..."We know God has a plan for my life, we are praying that his plan includes many many more years with my girls!"
