a)The illocutionary force of this utterance is achieved indirectly. The man is using an utterance that can be interpreted differently from its literal meaning. In fact the particular intention here is to demand, to make a request: ask for a ride.

b)This utterance appears to benefit the drivers. It gives the idea that they have a “last chance”, a last opportunity to give a ride, like if they were going to have some kind of benefits with that.

c)We believe the maxim of manner is flouted. The utterance isn't clear enough, it gives room for ambiguity. The man doesn’t say clearly that he is asking for a ride. Other maxims that we believe aren’t observed are quantity and quality. The man is kind of prolix; he is giving more information than it is necessary to express his ideas. In this context, this may lead to a negative result for him. The guy is also saying something that he has no evidence to be truth. He isn't sure if it is the “last chance” for the driver. Maybe he isn't also sure if is his last chance.
