Edvaldo, cross-cultural pragmatics doesn't have to do with vocabulary. It has to do with discourse, the things we do with language. Do we apologyze under the same circumstances in different cultures, for example? This is one of the concerns of CCP. The soap opera Caminho das Indias as well as the film Borat bring some very interesting examples of pragmatic differences. I hope the topic becomes clearer to you when you read the texts about it.
