Well, guys, many things are said about gender and discourse. One of them is that females are more concerned with their interlocutors' feelings and emotions and, therefore, express more solidarity than males. But, of course, this has created a lot of controversy in the field. Even if it is the case, we would have to do some research to find out whether this aspect remains unchanged in L2.
