Yeah! We totally agree with you that cultural differences should be taught (and not only grammar, vocabulary, and structural aspects of the language).

Moreover, we propose a kind of teaching that goes even beyond that - we suggest that besides telling our students how different the target language's culture is, we also tell them that "their" culture (American or English culture, for example) is not any better than ours!
