October Updates
Europe’s daylight saving time ends on October 26 in 2008, while daylight saving time in the USA and Canada will end on November 2. Other events: Diwali, India (October 28); Nevada Day (October 31); Halloween in the USA, UK, and Canada (October 31); All Saints' Day globally, including in the USA and Canada (November 1); and Election Day in the USA (November 4).
