Well Kyle, those are good questions. I'm not sure of how many copies we're going to make, but we'll make sure that you get one. I don't know the price we'll charge, somewhere in the vicinity of $5-$10.
"We felt the name 'Glass Prison' was a good metaphor to sum up the general emotions visited on this album, lyrically and musically" explains Alex, "It's the place you're forced to inhabit when you have depression. You can see all that surrounds you, but you have no choice but to stand there and watch others live the life you want to." Depression is only a prison if you let it be. Glass is broken, but some harm may be done to you to get out. In the end you're probably better off outside of your Glass Prison (depression), but sometimes you are too scared, or just don't want to escape.
Depression is one of the most common "prisons" for teens these days. Even our fans, like Bob (see <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.voy.com/21828/224.html">this post</a>) for example. I in fact have a similar situation as he does, and it really sucks. I have spent the past week or so depressed, gradually decreasing as I get used to the changes of my life, both good and bad. And back on topic, depression is a big problem. It leads to suicide or violence in some people. I think it's important to have music and lyrics that people can relate to, so they feel that they're not the only ones that feel this way. I know it helps me to know that others understand my problems, and try to help me out.
