I would agree with your list for the most part. I'm just not sure that Saundra C.'s talent is strong enough. She
changed her song at state last year which I thought was a
mistake; and I believe she did not make the top 12 if I
remember correctly. She sounds the best when she sings
the song "I Am Changing". It showcases her talent more than
the jazz/stds. that I know she loves and I love too. But,
I don't think those go over as well for her voice. Also, I have not met Christyn Richardson; nor have I seen or heard her
talent - how is she? What does she do? What about other
newbies? Some looked quite pretty in their pictures. Have
you seen any of their talents? Are there any standouts in
interview? This seems to be where we fall short each year
at nationals. We need to have a strong interviewer. Who
is the best interviewer you know about the last couple of
years?
