Subject: The following day it rained 2, so Cindy & Jessica were @ the mall.

The 2 15 years olds strolled through the busy mall and slipped into a quiet ice cream parlor. Cindy tucked a loose strand of short blonde hair back behind her ear and leaned fowards to tell the man what she wanted. "I'll have a strawberry shortcake flavored cone, and a coffee." She pulled the money out of her purse and watched as Jessica said, "And I'll take a choclatte chip cone with a water please." They got the snacks and sat down in a colorful booth. "Cindy!" someone called and she glanced up. Her tanned face broke into a grin. "Hey Parker!" she called to her handsome boy friend. He grinned back and sat down. "Where is Chandler?" Jessica asked, licking her ice cream. Chandler was her boy friend and Parker's best friend. "Oh I left him at the Sporting Goods Shop because I was hungry. He said he'd find me." Parker's blue eyes sparkled. "What's up with you guys?" "Nothing much," Cindy answered. She finished her cone and stood up. "Let's go." They dumped their trash and as they walked out, spotted Chandler carrying a bag. Cindy sipped her coffee calmly as Jessica inquired, "What'd you buy?" "A pair of hiking boots. So do ya'll wanna catch a movie?" He checked his watch. "How about The Cell? It starts in about 10 minutes." They hurried to the theator at the end of the mall and paid for tickets. Slipping into the dark theater, they could see a lot of people and the smell of musty popcorn was strong. On the huge screen a commercial was on, so they found seats and got ready. Cindy and Jessica screamed a lot during the thriller, and Cindy buried her head in Parker's shoulder when they showed a gross scene. After that, the group stumbled outside. Cindy's eyes were wide. "That was good!" she declared. "But scary!" Jessica shivered. "Hey, it stopped raining." Parker dropped Cindy's hand and smiled apolegtically. "I've got to go. See you guys tomorow at the stable." He strode off and Chandler kissed Jessica quickly. "Me too," he said. "My ride should be here any minute." Waving, he dissapeared. "Well, I'm not going anywhere," Cindy told Jessica. They walked to GAP and she bought a blue tank top and a pair or jean shorts. They went into HallMark next and she chose an Easter card for her parents.
