Hi Ruben,

Yes, not many have taken to the forum so far. Even I gave up checking in after a while, which is why I didn't see your message for a few months!

You say that it seems that "in most cases, after a flash experience one comes up with a formula to describe what happened..."

In a moment of enlightenment the separation between a self over here and a reality over there folds away so that only the underlying Reality remains, and it is conscious. They will sit there for a moment not only directly experiencing but also directly expressing the Truth. Then that underlying state is "obscured" with the return of ordinary conscious processing. At that moment, the individual has something profound to assimilate -- absolute Truth has been shining, now the mind has to somehow record, integrate and absorb what happened. The words ("formula") that people come up with are usually a spontaneous expression of Truth in terms that make sense to the individual in their normal state of being.

You say that "... these "formula"'s usually are considered merely as expressions or proof that something has happened, while in fact the formula may contain actual information about the real nature of what had been realized, but this seems mostly not given attention."

Hmm, I'm not sure why you see it that way. The words people come out with are not usually a report like "So now I know who I am", but a simple expression of the Truth itself, like "I am me," exactly as it has impacted the individual. And this, surely, is given a lot of attention. The participant is, after all, being instructed again and again to "Tell me who you are", and now they can do so! The master also encourages the participant to get the Truth across as directly as possible -- to BE who they are.

Does this not tie in with your observations? (Experiences?)

best wishes,

BARRY
