I had a very close girlfriend, Darla, die suddenly in June 2008 at the age of 45. The gift is that through your music her memory lives on. I hear her laughter in your songs, feel her spirit in your music. I thank you for that. She will never be closer to me than when I hear your voice and for that I am grateful.
