I agree with you Jet. I think people need to just learn how to cope. It has been close to 4 years now. I know it was a terrible catastrophe, but what about Camille? That was just as bad. In fact I think more people died in that one, but I remember a few years back there was a Women's football team named the Herricanes. I don't get it. The only way someone can get over something is to not push all thoughts away entirely because that only causes more mental problems to begin with.

Yes, the logo may not be the best choice, but I think the name is an excellent choice. Let's take this name and make it a positive. Let's "SURGE" to a championship. Let's be resilient and show the rest of the world and people around the south that we won't let something like this bring us down. I mean for god sake's its a hockey teams name. How upsetting can it be when you hear "the Mississippi Surge won last night". And if it does offend you well we need to stop selling surge protectors for computers in the south. Let's call them lightning blockers, or computer saving devices.
