Yeah..

I dont think they have given much credit to our players yet..

We have 2 rookies who led their team in scoring..

Ryan Mero had 51 goals, 68 assists and 119 points (all totals ninth in program history) in just 84 games played.

Ryan Gervais in 29 games had 13 goals and 25 assists for 38 points..

CJ Tozzo was the leading scorer in the EPHL in 49 games had 34 goals and 62 assist for 96 points... in only 49 games...IN THE SAME LEVEL OF HOCKEY AS SPHL... CLASS A

Tim Velemirovich was the 4th leading scorer in 2007/2008 with 71 points.... although he WAS a -13.

Remember, walby likes players with a scoring touch and doesn't give much of a look to good defensive players...Oliveto,Martin Frechette, and Zarb might be the best defensemen we have had since 2006.

I watched a hockey fight on youtube today and recognized a name.. Jay Rosehill is on the toronto maple leafs team fighting in preseason...We only had him for 2 games and I don't know why I recognized his name but I did.

I was also watching some hilarious Sean Avery videos....I wonder if we will see anyone who pulls the imature shit he pulls...

October 16th- preseason game in Pensacola.
October 17th- preaseason game in Biloxi.

I wonder if the player/assistant coach is going to be Matt Deschamps...he is an aged player who knows he is not going to make it to the NHL by now... and has a family here in Biloxi I'm sure...

I wouldn't mind picking up Louis Dumont again either..but I think he is with Mississippi's CHL team already... 65 points in 64 games last season...He would probably be looking at going to the Icegators or Iceflyers team's to considering he has played for all three expansion organizations.
