 I know!!! We were on the edge of our seats, yelling at the tv "Just put out all your D-Men, and pressure BU and CONTROL the puck. You don't need to score, you just need to control the puck for two more minutes!
During the entire game, Miami,O had man-on-man defense and they kept them at bay. In OT, the tried too hard to defend the goal, and that's when all the cluster**** happened. That winning goal was the biggest fluke goal I ever saw. That poor Miami guy the puck hit, then fluttered off of him and into the net for the Championship goal. How awful he must have felt!!!
I don't feel like BU really won, they just got a lucky bounce.
Regardless, I am really proud of the Miami, Ohio team for their powerful play and to get as far as they did. This one goes in the "Hockey gods must be crazy" decision column.!
