Royals Acquire Cruthers, Peto From Mississippi
April 20, 2009

READING, Pa. - The Reading Royals announced that they have acquired the rights to forward Ryan Cruthers and defenseman Kyle Peto from the Mississippi Sea Wolves to complete the trade that sent forward Peder Skinner to Mississippi on Mar. 12.

The Royals are the ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

This makes me nervous! Two of our best players being released? I suppose I'll need to call the office and see what sort of BS they feed me.
I know it could have to do with contracts, but am puzzled on why waiver these 2 guys, especially Cruthers!
