This years board has been great! We have worked together as a board as well as a membership. No one that sat at the "front table" thought they were any better than the ones sitting out there looking at us. If there were any events planned with the players the members were notified through newsletter, email, and even by phone (Thanksgiving dinner & the skating event). Anytime the membership was asked to do anything extra money wise (food for events and such)it was not aksed for without a "PLEASE DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO, but if you would like to please let us know what you can do. As a matter of fact nobody was asked to bring anything to the awards banquet because the BC was going to use funds set aside to pay for it all, but the members brought a ton of food out of the kidness of their hearts just because. There has been no catty drama on this board or between the membership this year. It isn't a clique, none of use really see each other outside of meetings, events, and games anyway. This years board has 4 "newbies" that haven't been involved before, so I think that shows that there is no bias on who gets elected. Hopefully in upcoming years it will continue to run as smoothly as this year did.

BTW... to whomever suggested that HOT ROD is not a first year member, but a person from the other board...get your facts straight because he's telling you the truth and I have his membership record to prove it. I also have those ballots from the election in question...they are not a secret, it is widely known that all of our records are open for viewing. If you want to see them just ask, instead of thinking you know what you are talking about.

Oh..and...it's amazing how someone who has moved several miles away to a whole new state is so consumed by drama that they can't let go of the fact that they were trouble makers and despite what they think no one was out to get them...they did it to themselves!! LET IT GOOOOOO....geeez!
