Subject: 50th Reunion

Well, it's been a month since our amazing class reunion & I had to add some finality to the lapse in anything written here lately. After all, the idea was launched from this site 4 years ago!!
For all those that attended, what a fantastic response & a good time we had!! For all those that were unable to make it, we truly missed you! We talked of those we were unable to contact & those that wished not to be found but how much a part of this class all had been. I think the success of the reunion had to do with the 2 night event. The ice was broken when many of us met at the hotel on Fri night & got a chance to catch up before the "main event". We saw faces that had changed drastically & those that had only changed slightly in the color of their hair or lack of. There were smiles I would have known anywhere & laughs I recognized from long ago! I renewed friendships & hope to stay in touch ongoing!! We danced, drank, ate & laughed til tears ran down my legs (that was meant to be funny. I recently saw it on a card!)
I personally want to thank the rest of the committee for all they did individually & as a group! Especialy to those that traveled to many of the meetings from the Cape, NH or New York. John, Gordon, Don, Sue S., Pat, Sue W., & Karen.
And in the end of my rambling, I would especially like to thank Larry Broga for all his support & encouragement & initial push to get this party started. You inspired the committee with your enthusiasm. Thank you!!! We wanted it to be a good one because YOU wanted it so bad!!

My best to all til we meet again, Judi Grey Smith

A big thank-you to the whole committee who worked so hard to make this one the very best reunions ever. I have talked to many people over the years about their reunions, and none compare with ours.
I am not one to make a bucket list, having done most anything I wanted, but having a reunion and being able to reconnect with my classmates has been a wish of mine for some time now. Thank-you again for making this happen, it meant a great deal to me and I truly appreciated it.

I too, wish to thank our commitee members for all of the hard work and planning that produced an outstanding 50th reunion celebration. Great Job!

To John, great job on WHS63. Thank you for all the postings and follow up to the reunion, it is appreciated!

To Ruth, thank you for inspiring our class to communicate and to produce a 50th reunion. You were missed physically at the reunion, but you were there in our hearts and minds.

I read your last paragraph of the home page on this site and sadly understand. Thanks again for your hard work and dedication.

Best regards to all, I hope the Holiday Season brings joy to your lives.

Phil
