Subject: A big Hello to the Class of 63

Many of you will remember me and my brothers. I was supposed to be part of the class of 63 as I started out school at the Bay State Building AKA "Odd Fellows Hall" and to others it was the Bay State bowling alley. Some of you may remember Mrs. Walker, she was my first grade teacher. It was at the completion of my first year of school at the Bay State Building that I became a member of the class of 64.

I have dyslexia and no one had ever heard of it in 1951, but things did get better and stayed that way until I decided that WHS and I didn't have enough going with each other (was I ever wrong) and left. I joined the US Army and spent 6 1/2 years and separated and then joined the US Air force for another 13 1/2 years and then retired.

While I was in the service I did graduate and got another 2 years of college. While in the Army I married a wonderful lady and was married to her for 42 1/2 years. She has joined our Lord and Savior June of 2008. We raised three children, a girl and two boys.

After retiring from the military I went to work for the US Postal Service, and stayed with them for another 17 1/2 years. (total Government time 37 1/2 years. I would have stayed longer but I was needed at home and felt that that was much more important to me. I was able to take care of my wife until the end.

Now I am retired and living in San Antonio TX. I have lived here off and on since 1963 but officially since 1971. For any of you that have a hard time placing me I was one of three brothers I have an older brother Ed and a younger brother Bob. I was the one in the middle, I had glasses and weighed about 130 lbs when I left school, if that doesn't help just think about all three of us,...OK you got it in your mind?........I was the good looking one.
