Subject: I haven't watched it. Sorry, but not even David can make me watch the show.

[> [> Nancyeddy, how can you judge it without having seen it? It doesn't put down Chrisitanity. It simply points out that some who claim to be Christian don't practice what they preach. In fact, it gives some pretty good lessons about how Christians are supposed to lead their lives. -- Lee, 14:45:19 03/10/12 Sat [1]

[> [> [> I haven't watched a full ep -- only the clips that have been on the net. It's enough for me to make a determination. I'm not saying no one else should watch, just that I don't feel that *I* can watch it. The Texas stereotypes have bothered me for a long time, and this show reeks of those as well. DJE does look good from what I've seen, though. Inside for an interesting tidbit-- -- nancyeddy, 10:08:46 03/13/12 Tue [1]

I have an online friend who didn't watch JAG - so she has no idea who DJE is. I sent her a photo some time ago, and she said that he wasn't her ideal.. Okay, fine. Well, the other day, she said that she'd started watching GCB (mostly because of Kristen C and Annie Potts). I mentioned to her that DJE was in the cast as Ripp, Charlene's husband. She told me that she hadn't 'noticed' him, and that none of the men on the show jumped out for her... I fear for her future if she's THAT unobservant, LOL!

[> [> [> [> Nancyeddy, we all know that 95% of Texans are not like the caricatures on GCB, but from the posts on IMDb, those who live in Dallas say that the characters in GCB aren't too far off, albeit a little over the top. LOL It's okay that you don't want to watch the show. I wasn't too sure about it either at first, but I gave it a chance and find that it's a lot better than I thought it would be and actually quite entertaining. I hope that you'll change your mind and watch some episodes before you completely write it off. -- Lee, 14:47:24 03/13/12 Tue [1]
