Subject: With the non-renewal of GCB, I've seen posts in various places talking about a 'curse', and saying that the only person from JAG who seems to have done well is CB... And implying that maybe DJE is a jinx for shows, since so many seem to last only one season or get cancelled after he joins the cast. They point out CB's Army WIves series and her Good Witch movies on Hallmark as examples of how her star has continued to rise while those of the other JAG cast members haven't. What do you think is the reason for all of this? Any ideas?

[> Well, first of all, I don't believe in curses or jinxes, but I was curious to see what each had done since JAG ended seven years ago, so I went to their respective IMDb pages to check. While none of David's series has lasted as long as Army Wives, David has appeared in 20 different venues: 5 made for TV movies, 7 TV series - 3 in which he starred and 4 in which he made one or more guest appearances, 3 TV mini-series and 5 movies made for theatrical release. On the other hand, CB has appeared in 14 different venues: 8 TV movies, 3 TV series - one in which she starred and 2 in which she made one appearance, 1 TV mini-series and 2 movies made for theatrical release - one appearance for which she was uncredited. Given this, it doesn't appear to me that CB has been more successful than DJE in their careers. -- Lee, 13:59:54 06/02/12 Sat [1]
