Subject: Can someone tell me why anyone would watch a show built around a certain character and not like that character?

I am still seeing people in various places who say that they didn't like Harm on JAG, and that they only watched for Mac. or the Admiral. Most of those people liked the rest of the characters, but not Harm! Doesn't make sense to me. The entire premise of the show was to tell Harm's story, so why watch it they didn't like the main character?
