Subject: cifra record de visitantes a la torre Eiffel

En el 2008, el famoso monumento francés recibió seis millones 930 mil personas procedentes e todo el mundo.



Según la Sociedad de Explotación de la Torre Eiffel (SETE), encargada de gestionar ese atractivo, esa cantidad representa un incremento del 0,5 por ciento en comparación con el 2007.

De ese volumen, el 19 por ciento correspondió a los grupos de turistas, de los cuales el 70 por ciento concretó su reservación mediante un sistema de ventas por Internet inaugurado en marzo pasado.

Para el periodo de 2009, la SETE prevé un retroceso del número de visitantes a la construcción mas elevada de la urbe, con 324 metros de altura.
